The Tulip car seat from ABC Design serves as a dependable and pleasant travel partner for your child up to 15 months of age. It has undergone testing according to the most current ECE R129 (i-Size) safety regulations, ensuring superior protection through its advanced side impact defense system and a cushioned 3-point harness that adapts as your child grows.
An integrated infant insert provides essential support for your newborn right from the start and can be removed as your baby develops. The adjustable headrest offers four height settings, and the detachable padding allows for personalized adjustments to the seat's width and height, ensuring a perfect fit for your little one.
The Stiftung Warentest and ADAC (issue 10/2020) recognized the Tulip car seat with a “GOOD” (2.2) rating. ADAC has confirmed a very low risk of injury during frontal impacts and robust protection against side collisions.
A generous canopy featuring UV protection offers welcome shade on bright, sunny days. The subtly curved base allows the seat to gently rock when outside the vehicle, creating an ideal environment for a peaceful, short nap.
Placing the Tulip car seat in your vehicle is straightforward: utilize the standard 3-point vehicle seat belt. Color-coded guides are provided to ensure proper installation. For frequent journeys, an optional Isofix base is recommended. Once the base is installed, simply click the Tulip seat in and out. A visual indicator confirms correct attachment. The Root Isofix base facilitates 90° rotation for effortless installation and removal.
Weighing a mere 3.95 kg and designed for compatibility with ABC Design stroller frames, the Tulip car seat is exceptionally well-suited for travel. Upon arrival, effortlessly transition from car to stroller without disturbing your sleeping baby.
As a rear-facing car seat (reboarder), the Tulip provides enhanced safety by being positioned to better absorb impact forces in the unfortunate event of an accident.
